IMPORTANT NOTES #
- Your policy number is the same as your insurance card number.
- OSHC is effective from the date the student is granted or extends a Subclass 500 Student Visa. If the student does not yet hold a student visa, the insurer will not provide coverage or accept claims.
- Students must have a valid visa to activate their account.
- If the student holds a dependent visa, they must be covered under the policy of the main visa holder.
- Students should keep their boarding passes (in English) when flying from home country and when leaving Australia, in case they need to request an OSHC refund.
- If a student is on a Bridging Visa and never previously held a student visa, they are not eligible to use OSHC — consider OVHC instead.
- For any expected visa changes, contact Annalink’s partner for assistance.
